My Favorite Fashion Duo and their Label: Elizabeth and James

In 2007 Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen released their clothing line called Elizabeth and James after their younger sister and older brother.

If you don’t know anything about the label, it’s co-designed by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who also serve as the company’s muses.

The label is a mix of masculine and feminine with blazers, dresses, fluid blouses, skirts, slim pants, girl tees, luxurious knits, accessories and footwear.

Elizabeth and James brings a couture sensibility to the contemporary customer. Seeking to narrow the gap between designer and contemporary clothing, Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen act as muses and co-designers on this new fashion label.”

It really reflects a New York City style—very androgynous if you mix up the pieces but can be really girly—which  reflects the twins’ styles—MK’s Downtown look with Ashley’s Uptown glamour.

Inspired by the mix of uptown and downtown, masculine and feminine, and casual and dressy, look to Elizabeth and James for fashion forward styles made effortless.”

I have been pleasantly surprised with this contemporary sportswear line E and J. It has proven to be innovative, feminine, flirty, fun and even a bit vintage.

Give the customer what she wants—that’s Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen’s mantra for their contemporary collection Elizabeth and James…Which is definitely everything that I want.

Thank you for reading my blog.😊
