Dress It Like David Beckham: Mini-Me collection for H&M, Results in Pure Cuteness

Little boys will now be able to dress it like Beckham, thanks to Greek god and former footballer, David Beckham who debuted the campaign for his H&M boys’ line last week. Yep, tykes everywhere are about to get a serious boost in the style department.

With three sons of his own (Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz), the next logical addition to David Beckham’s H&M bodywear line would be a selection for little gents. So almost two years after Beckham’s uber successful design debut with the high street retailer, he is expanding his Bodywear collection with a line for children.

The vintage-inspired collection, adorably dubbed Mini-Me, features pint-sized versions of Beckham’s Bodywear line for adults offering for grown-ups; tanks, henley shirts, long johns, skinny sweatpants, slim-cut boxer briefs, pajama shorts and in grey and navy jersey fabric—just like daddy’s, form part of the mix.

The collection launches on January 30 across selected H&M stores, and comes in two price brackets to reflect the age ranges. Long johns and jogging bottoms are the most expensive pieces from the Mini-Me line at £14.99.

For his new children’s line, David Beckham chose to maintain the masculine and athletic designs of his collections for men, barely adjusting anything but the sizes. Age ranges are divided into 1.5 years to 8 years and 9 years to 14 years.

A number of the new children’s pieces feature stripes — thin on tank tops and wider on long-sleeved T-shirts — a pattern that will carry over into the next David Beckham Bodywear for H&M collection for men, soon to be unveiled to the public

I doubt elementary school shoppers will notice the style details of the new line, but they sure will look adorable in it. I can just picture Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz spending a lazy Saturday lounging around the house watching cartoons in matching pajamas from the line.

I’m so ecstatic about this collection because I have seriously searched high and low for cool, hip loungewear for my 6 year old son and 1 year old toddler. All that’s out there are loungewear outfits with cute cheesy prints on them like cars, hockey sticks, bears, etc—what little boys are made of (like the nursery song). Beckham’s Mini-Me collection is exactly what I have been looking for:)

David Beckham’s giving us a reason to tune into the Super Bowl on February 2nd: Beckham will launch his latest sportswear-inspired campaign for H&M during the game. “I loved working with David for his new campaign,” director Nicolas Winding Refn said. “He is a natural in front of the camera, and was fearless when performing his own stunts. The campaign is funny, smart, and spectacular, and shows the many different sides of David’s personality.”

In case you missed it, here is his 2012 H&M Super Bowl Commercial. Happy watching, ladies!

Thank you for reading my blog.😊

Are you as excited as I am for David Beckham’s Mini-Me collection?
