Spring’s Slip-On Sneaker Shoe Trend

Every morning we find ourselves faced with the eternal question: flats or heels? While us fashion girls are “supposed” to be into the tallest heels, I know deep down, flats will always be my shoe of choice.  If you’re looking up to change up your footwear this season, make the slip-on sneaker your ultimate go-to kicks. There are many, many super chic versions of this shoe—a hybrid of the casual flat and the traditional tennis shoe, this style sensation is a chic revival of your middle-school Vans days and is definitely worth investing in.

Make sure to fully embrace this shoe trend by opting for prints, textures or embellishments. While the slip-on sneaker is more on the casual side, there are still smart and stylish ways to sneak the slip-on sneaker into an outfit that still looks chic and put together. Plus they are the sassy sneaker style of the season and are hot for spring 2014!

Pair the slip-on sneaker with boyfriend jeans or cuffed jeans.

Pair with sporty cuffed pants. The key to this sophisticated look is the refined bag and tailored coat.

When it doubt, pair with white cropped denim and a simple t-shirt. The shoes are the stand-out piece here.
